Who can participate in the referral program?
Anyone! You don’t need to be a current client, a past client, or have any formal relationship with us. If you know a business that needs a great website, you’re eligible.
What counts as a successful referral?
Your referral counts as successful when the business you referred signs up for either of our monthly plans: Growth ($2,000/mo) or Full Department ($3,500/mo).
How do I submit a referral?
Sign up as a partner and you’ll get your own unique referral link. Share it however you want — text, email, in person. When someone signs up through your link, they’re automatically attributed to you. You can also submit referrals directly from your partner portal.
When do I get paid?
After your referral has been an active client for 3 months. Once they hit that milestone, we’ll reach out to confirm your preferred payment method. Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or a good old-fashioned check.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
No cap on the number of businesses you can refer. Each unique business that becomes a client earns you one $250 payout. See our program terms for full details.
What if they don't sign up right away?
If you submitted the referral through the portal or form, we track it for 90 days. If they sign up within that window, you earn the payout. Note that referral links are session-based and are not saved to cookies, so if someone leaves and comes back later on their own, the attribution may not carry over. If you think a referral was missed, reach out to us and we’ll work it out.
Do I need to be involved in the sales process?
Not at all. Just make the introduction and we take it from there. You don’t need to pitch, demo, or follow up. We handle the entire sales process. You just collect $250.
Program Terms
Payout timing. Your $250 payout is issued after the referred client has been on an active contract with Zealous Growth for 3 months.
90-day tracking window. Referrals are tracked for 90 days from submission. If the business signs up within that window, you earn the payout.
One payout per business. Each referred business that becomes a client earns one $250 payout, regardless of the plan they choose or how many times they are referred.
First referrer wins. If multiple people refer the same business, credit goes to whichever referral we received first.
Session-based attribution. Referral links attribute the inquiry to you for that browser session. Links are not stored in cookies and do not persist after the session ends. If you believe a referral was missed, contact us and we’ll review it.
No self-referrals. You cannot refer your own business or use your own contact information as the referred business.
Fraud protection. Zealous Growth reserves the right to deny payouts for fraudulent, misleading, or duplicate referrals.
